How to Use Catalina Castile Soap
Liquid castile soap has a naturally thin consistency.
It can be used straight out of the bottle as a hand or body cleanser or diluted for an even gentler soap. Apply directly to skin or sponge. Lather, rinse, repeat and thank yourself for taking steps towards clean living.

Materials: Clean foaming soap pump container
Directions: In a clean foaming soap pump container, add a 50\50 mix of Catalina Castile Soap and distilled water. Be sure not to fill it past the air chamber (the round part attached to the lid) to allow for adequate airflow.
Optional: Add a few drops of your favorite essential oils for a personal touch. We suggest using distilled water for a clearer product. Tap water may be used instead but the solution may appear cloudy due to dissolved solids present in tap water.

Directions: There are many ways to use Catalina Castile Soap to wash dishes:
- Apply soap directly to a cloth/ sponge/ brush etc. and lather with water for direct cleaning
- Pour some soap into a small dish to dip your brush
- Use a foaming pump to dispense soap
- Add to a sink of running water (Note: bubbles will be minimal due to the natural formulation but the water should feel slightly soapy)
Wash dishes as usual then rinse thoroughly.

Materials: Clean spray bottle
Directions: Fill a clean spray bottle with water (ideally distilled), leaving a bit of room for soap. Add 1 teaspoon of Catalina Castile Soap per 500mL of water. Spray household surfaces and wipe off with paper towel or reusable cloths. Spot test small area before applying to larger surfaces. Wipe area with damp cloth for best results.
Optional: Add a few drops of your favourite essential oils like lemon or tea tree for extra cleaning power.

Directions: Add 1-2 tablespoons of Catalina Castile Soap to a large bowl and fill with water, adding more soap for larger batches. Add produce to bowl and hand-wash to help remove dirt and pesticides. Rinse and dry thoroughly prior to storage.
Note: Not all fruits and vegetables like to be washed (e.g., carrots, raspberries), especially porous foods. Use with discretion.

Materials: Clean jar or bottle
Directions: Dilute Catalina Castile Soap in a clean jar or bottle using a 4 parts water to 1 part soap (Example: 1/4 cup soap + 1 cup water).
Wet your pet’s fur thoroughly using lukewarm water. Pour a small amount of diluted soap along their back. Massage soap into fur to create a lather, avoiding the eyes and nose. Rinse completely with lukewarm water until soap is gone. Spot test on a small area of fur before applying to entire body.

Catalina Castile Soap is the ultimate outdoor companion because it is entirely plant-based and highly concentrated, allowing you to pack light and wash everything from your dishes to your hair with a single bottle. Most importantly, it is completely biodegradable, meaning it breaks down naturally without leaving harsh synthetic chemicals behind in nature.

Directions: Use 1/4 to 1/2 cup Catalina Castile Soap per load. High efficiency (HE) washing machines require less soap than traditional washers. Pour soap directly into dispenser tray for best results or into drum before adding clothes. Ideal for baby clothes and sensitive skin.
Catalina Castile Soap can also be used as a spot treatment. Wet the soiled area with cold water, add a few drops of undiluted soap to the stain and rub in using another area of the clothing or a soft toothbrush. Let sit for 5-10 minutes then wash clothing as normal.
